Our Story
Aesse Projects was founded by Antonio Screpis in 2000, after a long and proven international experience in the field. From the beginning, the missioni is clear: to offer the most important names in the fashion industries, a sophisticated and cleverly organised creative manufacturing center, specialized in the development and production of luxury outwear and clothing.
After a first experience as a freelancer in 1998 as a model maker, gained working for large groups in the fashion and famous designers such as Alberta Ferretti, Gianfranco Ferre, Versace, Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier, Montana, Gilles Rosier, Donna Karan, together with many years of experience organization of production for third parties, decided to start his own, founding Aesse Projects.
Partnerships with larger international groups (Calvin Klein, Gianfranco Ferre, Versace, Donna Karan, Gilmar Group, Hugo Boss, Gieves and Hawkes, Mulberry, Belstaff, Burberry) have stimulated a growth in terms of style, product development, production and logistics. In just over a decade Aesse Projects has become a efficient reality, which has developed a quick and efficient formula to offer an excellent product and service.
Mission
The purpose is to transform the creative impulse into a product with market appeal, thanks to know-how gained through research and development. In few simple words: to create a rapid and effective formula to offer the luxury clothing industry a product and service of the highest quality.
Aesse Projects has created a unique operative model: the “Pattern Making & Products Development”, that can interpretate the styling project and enhance all aspects related to the concept of the collection, and through in-depth research that allow then to return products with styles and volumes as well as thought by the designer.
It starts from the study of the sketch of the designer and is articulated through the realization of the pattern which gives rise to a prototype; with the subsequent development takes place a sample, and ends with the complete production management which aims to achieve a high level of quality in manufacturing through a process marked by stages. Then follows the entire production process to its conclusion, building and managing all the phases of production and shipping. The entire process is completed in a few weeks; the speed becomes a strength of Aesse.
The prototype stage is made entirely in our headquarter and is based mainly on the experience as pattern maker of Aesse’s President – Antonio Screpis. For the phases of prototypes, samples and production we also use specialized external structures selected by the type of product, in order to guarantee to the customer, from the beginning, the quality standard that will follow throughout the production.
